Our Process

Design Consultation & Quotation

After receiving your initial architect's drawings or personal sketches, we will discuss your vision for the staircase, any preferences you might have and what you hope to achieve. Some clients may have a very definite design in mind while others may want some creative ideas and options presented based on their preferences and budget. Either way, we will work closely with you or your team to help create the staircase of your dreams and provide a guideline quotation based on these features.

Site Survey

Should you wish to proceed with BAVARI for your staircase, we will then schedule a suitable time to make a site visit to survey the property, meet the clients, builders, architects or interior designers face to face and talk through the different stages, options, timelines and requirements etc. with each one and answer any questions that they may have.

If the project involves cladding or manufacturing handrails for concrete stairs we will perform a specialised 3D scan of the concrete stairs, taking the shape of each tread, wall, string, rise, well hole etc. which is then imported into our software and providing us with an extremely accurate template from which to design the staircase (Learn more here).

Detailed 2D & 3D drawings

After taking the initial measurements or 3D scan on site we will then proceed with drafting up the concept design for the staircase. Once you are happy with the design we commence with the detailed 2D drawings followed by 3D images of the proposed staircase. 

Depending on the project, the client may wish to see samples of handrail profiles, materials, finishes or spindles etc. at this stage which we are more than happy to help with.

Final Quotation & Sign Off

Once all aspects of the staircase design have been finalised, we will provide a final quotation before the drawings are signed off and the staircase goes into production. Again depending on the project, a further site survey may be required at this stage prior to manufacturing commencing.

Staircase Production

With the shop drawings complete, the materials sourced and quality checked, our craftsmen get to work, meticulously handcrafting each section of your staircase and building it in full in our factory to ensure every aspect is perfect before disassembling and packaging to take to your property.

A combination of top-quality materials, highly skilled tradesmen and state-of-the-art machines ensure that your staircase is built to the very highest standard with precision and attention to detail at every stage.

Bavari will be continuously keeping in touch with your whole team during the process - providing updates, answering queries and forwarding photos of the staircase at various stages during the production process keeping everyone up to date with progress.

Delivery and Installation

At last - the big day has arrived! Bavari will arrive on site with the staircase and our installation team, who will work meticulously to install your staircase with the utmost care, efficiency and attention to detail.

All aspects of the installation will be overseen by the project manager and completed by the same fully qualified tradesmen who manufactured every detail on your staircase.

Bavari will also ensure that all health and safety documentation such as risk assessments, method statements and any Export Customs paperwork (if applicable) is submitted and up to date so that the installation process runs smoothly and efficiently from start to finish.
