Our Process for

The process begins with an advanced 3D laser scan of the entire staircase, including all treads, risers, strings, landings, well openings, and adjoining balconies. This highly accurate scan captures the exact geometry of the concrete structure, eliminating guesswork and allowing us to model every curve, angle, and contour with millimetre precision. This step is vital in ensuring a flawless fit and finish during the later stages of design and installation.

Using the data captured from the 3D scan, our in-house design team creates detailed 2D shop drawings and photorealistic 3D renders of the proposed staircase cladding. These visuals serve as both a technical roadmap for our craftsmen and a valuable visual aid for clients, architects, and interior designers to review and approve before production begins. Adjustments to materials, profiles, finishes, or design elements can be seamlessly incorporated at this stage to ensure absolute alignment with the project’s vision.

Once approved, the staircase enters production at our state-of-the-art facility, where our highly skilled tradesmen begin handcrafting each component. Every tread, riser, stringer, and handrail is fabricated with unrivalled precision and care, using premium-grade materials. Combining traditional joinery methods with cutting-edge machinery, we create staircases that are not only structurally sound but also visually stunning—true centrepieces of the home.

After full dry-fitting and quality checks in the factory, the staircase components are carefully disassembled into manageable sections for transport. Each piece is clearly labelled and protected, ensuring a smooth reassembly process on site. Upon delivery, our expert installation team meticulously installs each component directly onto the concrete base, ensuring an exact fit that mirrors the dry-assembled version created in our workshop.

To safeguard the staircase during the remainder of the building works, we apply a robust and comprehensive protective covering. This includes foam underlay and 12mm ply or MDF sheeting on all treads and risers, as well as custom U-shaped edge protection for the handrails. Metal spindles, if included, are wrapped in breathable mesh netting or durable plastic, providing maximum protection while allowing airflow to prevent condensation or surface damage.

If the project requires finishing touches such as staining, painting, or polishing, our team will complete these elements either on-site or in a controlled workshop environment, depending on the finish and conditions. Once applied, the staircase is re-covered with protective wrapping to maintain its pristine condition until final handover.

​Upon completion of all surrounding works, we return to carefully remove all protective coverings, revealing your fully transformed staircase. This final step is always a moment of pride—for both our clients and our team—as the craftsmanship, precision, and elegance of the finished product are put on full display. The result is a seamlessly clad staircase that feels entirely bespoke, refined, and built to last.
